Welcome to Sachins
Located on the historic Forth Banks of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sachins finest Punjabi cuisine has become a local icon since opening over 38 years ago. Current owner Kulmeet (Bob) Arora was a regular diner before taking over the restaurant in 2000. Quickly going from a big part of his life to being the centre of his life, Bob put his heart and soul (and continues to do so to this day) into turning the already bustling restaurant into a cut above the rest.
Featuring an ambient, atmospheric interior, Sachins is the perfect way to unwind after a long day at the office, to celebrate a special occasion or even just for a meal with a difference. No matter your reason, you can be assured of a friendly welcome every time.
The building itself is beautiful and retains much of the exterior that diners have come to recognise and love, while the inside has had a full refurb since Bob took over.
