– We meet at Edinburgh Castle and learn about the history of the castle as well as the views of Edinburgh. We head down the the Grassmarket and learn about the bloody history of the old town – Royal Mile. We learn how this historic street got its name as well as what life was like in the old town.
St Giles Cathedral we look round this beautiful cathedral as well as learn the history of the Scottish church – we finish at Holyrood palace the home to the royal family when in Edinburgh. We will learn about the 16th century palace and the history around it, before finishing our tour with a cup of tea or coffee and a cake.
