Bakchich is quite simply a little piece of Lebanon that sits on the chic and quirky Bold Street in Liverpool. This most beautiful and lovingly crafted restaurant is, from start to finish an experience and flavour of the Mediterranean.

Our food menu is created with magic and mystery at every turn and the menu is a treasure hunt of culinary tastes, vision and feel. Each dish is lovingly created to reflect a little piece of the Lebanon. Every mouthful, designed to be a taste sensation of learning and understanding of the culture and ethos of Lebanon cuisine.

About Bakchich

Bakchich is a culinary taste sensation ready to explode onto the scene of the great UK cities and beyond. Our Liverpool site opened on Tuesday 13th August 2013 and has not once stopped to take a breath. Clean, trendy, unique, quality, choice and fresh are at the heart of every single decision made in the business. Our Manchester venue opened in September 2015.

Bakchich started out on the Christmas Markets of Liverpool. With our fresh ingredients, new and unique flavours, alive and clean juices we were a major hit. This gave us the drive and inspiration to open our first site in Liverpool and our second in Manchester. Bakchich translation means ‘Loose Change’ and as much as being a very memorable fascia name, it is also a primary message behind the cuisine we create – that of food at affordable prices.

Our vision

Bakchich vision is to introduce Lebanese Street food to Liverpool and Manchester. It is also to educate and help our customers discover about the Arabic food culture, traditions and heritage that unite communities. Bakchich Cafe is Lebanese street food with a french twist, serving variety of Lebanese Mezza with innovations in the traditional Lebnaese dishes from Shawarma to Falafel, and baklawa and a wide variety of healthy fruits cocktails, to meet the taste of our food lovers.

Bakchich mission is to create environment that bring people of different region backgrounds and beliefs together – celebrating the healthy, fresh food we love in Beirut, in unique atmosphere, contemporary decor,yet at very affordable prices , contributing to local communities, and promoting organic foods and a healthy lifestyle.
